Erika 'Craizin' Lindstrom is really excited to be starting her first year as Director of Inclusion at Pioneer, after being the Assistant Director of Inclusion for the past two summers. She has enjoyed working around the lake at all the sites and getting to know campers of different ages from a wide range of backgrounds. Erika first came to camp as an Explorer camper at Adventure Camp and continued at Girls Camp. In 2003 she completed the LIT program and became a chalet and inclusion leader for the next two summers. From 2005-2006 she served as the Inclusion Coordinator at As a recent graduate of the Concurrent Education program at Queens University, Erika is currently completing her Bachelor of Education at Queens. She hopes to work with students with exceptionalities, while being an advocate for inclusion in the education system. She is passionate about inclusive camping ministry because it creates a loving environment that reflects the diverse community that God created us for. Erika believes that the inclusion program at camp is important for providing an equitable camping experience for all campers and also modeling an inclusive environment to all campers. She is so thankful to have the privilege of working with campers who have exceptionalities and is always amazed by the things she learns from them. Erika feels blessed to be part of what God is doing at Pioneer through the Inclusion program and is eagerly anticipating summer 2010!
