DIRECTOR

Paul and Jean Macleod have directed Family camp for a number of years.  Paul has a music background and worked in church ministry as a worship pastor.

They have been involved with Inter-Varsity and Pioneer Camp for almost 30 years now – as campers, counselors, section heads, LIT, and Camp Directors (Music Camp 1990 – 1995) and Family Camp (2005 - ). Paul has also spoken several years at Pioneer’s various teen camps. Pioneer Camp has been a place where they have encountered God in powerful ways and as a result their faith has been nurtured and strengthened.

Paul and Jean Macleod live in Waterloo, Ontario with their three boys Timothy (14), Matthew (11), and Christopher (8). Paul studied Business at Ryerson, Music and Education at York, and teaches High School Music and Math in Waterloo. Jean studied Biology at Guelph and then did her Masters in Speech Language Pathology at U of T. She works part time at Kid’s Ability in Waterloo as a Speech Pathologist.

They love people, the outdoors, camping, sports, gardening, reading, music --- and serving at Ontario Pioneer Camp! They look forward to meeting you.
