Page 1 of 5 DIRECTIONS To get a google map to Ontario Pioneer Camp click here. To get to Ontario Pioneer Camps, from Highway 401, exit north on Highway 400. After Barrie, continue in the left lanes on Highway 11. After Bracebridge turn right on South Mary Lake Road. Continue to the stop sign and turn right, crossing the bridge. Turn right immediately past the bridge on to Deer Lake Road. Go a short distance and turn left on to Clearwater Lake Road. This road will lead to a large "Ontario Pioneer Camp" sign. Note for GPS users: Most GPS navigation systems encourage you to take a route following Stephenson Road 1 and Hughes Road. Do NOT follow this route. Please follow the directions/map listed below. YEAR ROUND ONLY (NOT SUMMER): You will first come to a large Pioneer Welcome sign. DO NOT TURN at this sign. Clearwater/Main Office is first along this road, followed by Pioneer Lodge/Adventure Camp which is indicated by a large sign that says, "Pioneer Lodge Welcome". SUMMER: Turn left at the sign to get to Boys' Camp and Girls' Camp or continue along the road to get to the Clearwater/Main Office site, Pioneer Lodge / Adventure Camp or Cedarwood. Clearwater / Main Office is first along this road, followed by Pioneer Lodge / Adventure Camp which is indicated by a large sign that says, "Pioneer Lodge Welcome". Please obey all posted speed limits especially on the roads in and around Pioneer Camp.Alternative Route: The Town of Huntsville would like parents bringing campers to camp to bring them on or off Highway #11at the full interchange at the northern entrance to Port Sydney or Highway #141/District Road #10. If you follow this route, you will need to turn left at the exit crossing over Stevenson Road #8, and continue along Muskoka Road 10 through Port Sydney. Turn Left across the bridge at the other side of Port Sydney. Turn right immediately past the bridge on to Deer Lake Road. Go a short distance and turn left onto Clearwater Lake Road. This road will lead to a large "Ontario Pioneer Camp" sign. Turn left at the sign to get to Boys' Camp and Girls' Camp or continue along the road to get to the Clearwater / Main Office site, Pioneer Lodge / Adventure Camp or Cedarwood. If you come to camp by bus, be sure to notify the OPC office of the time of your arrival so that we can make arrangements to pick you up.
