If they sound believable, then do we have a program for you! Even if you’re skeptical, we would love a chance to change your mind! We are excited about the changes in store for 2010! The 252 Crew is a chance for you to have some We’ve designed 252 this way so that your servant-leadership abilities will grow as you experience camp from behind the scenes and have opportunities to take on responsibility and to contribute in significant ways. The service components of 252 are a great way to prepare yourself for the challenges of future leadership opportunities at camp and in your community. But don’t be fooled into thinking that 252 is only about hard work. We are expanding the program in 2010 to include all areas of service at camp including kitchens, maintenance and housekeeping. The smaller number of campers in the program make for a tight community that does all kinds of hilarious activities together. If you think you’ve seen it all at Pioneer, then you’re in for some big surprises! And while you’re doing tons of fun stuff, count on getting to hang out with some really cool people. 252 carves out the time and space to relax and really get to know the group. 252 is also about using your head. We want to challenge you to think about God, life, meaning—the big stuff. We will ask some big questions,and then spend time together trying to work toward answers. We want to talk about the issues and topics that matter to you, and help you get to answers that you can really live with. With a new meeting area and some new accommodations, 2010 will be the best year ever for 252. So, how do a couple of weeks of 252 sound? A fun-filled mix of work, play, chatting, thinking, and hanging out. All in the beautiful setting of Pioneer Camp—part of every great summer! P.S.
