Leaders in Training is a co-ed program for Christian teens who have completed grade 10 or 11 (16-17 year-olds, or 15 turning 16 by December 31st 2010). Since 1976, Pioneer’s Leaders In Training program has been a life-changing force in the lives of thousands of young Christians. If you desire to grow in faith and are ready for the hard work, responsibility, and fun of serving as a leader in Pioneer’s camping experience, this program is for you.
The first two weeks of the program are an intensive time of learning, during which you will be given many hands-on opportunities to develop your skills in several areas and to grow in your faith. The LIT staff team, carefully selected as models of servant leadership, will guide and encourage you to reach your full potential. Then, in the second half of LIT, put your skills to the test – become a valuable member of one of the superb staff teams around Lake Clearwater, and help us run our renowned children’s camping programs. With all the exciting memories, rewarding experiences, and new friendships, you won’t want to leave camp. But when you do leave, you will be equipped with valuable skills and a new sense of confidence and purpose for contributing to your home, school and church communities.
Only a limited number of spaces in LIT. Apply now! Please remember that the online form is only the first step in the application process. All steps must be completed before final acceptance. Because of limited spaces all paperwork must be completed before a place is reserved in a particular session. Steps

Leaders In Training

Whether it’s the exhilaration of leading your group down a set of roaring rapids on the French River or the satisfaction of seeing your campers’ smiling faces after a laughter-filled game, the challenges and rewards of the LIT program are second to none.
